Disk drive performance changes with OSR2 due to number of tracks read.

Cause:

Windows 95 OSR2 increases the number of reads per track in one pass for floppy disk drives. This increases read performance and prevents damaged data from being written back to the floppy drive.

Solution:

This is not a problem. OSR2 is designed to increase the number of tracks read at once on the floppy drive.
